ReSharper 2021.1.1

When break point is hit a message "A debugger operation is taking a long time to complete" appears and Visual Studio freezes.

Behaviour is similar to RSRP-483982

Yes, the problem looks very similar to RSRP-483982.

Have you tried the workaround suggested in the issue:

While we are working on the fix please try disabling the following options as a current workaround:

ReSharper | Tools | Debugger | Editor Integration | Show local variable values
ReSharper | Tools | Debugger | Editor Integration | Show current line expressions values.
