IntelliSense randomly stops working RS 2019.2.3

I'm using VS 2019 Enterprise RS 2019.2.3.  I've also seen the problem with my VS 2019 Pro as well with the same version of RS.

I found posts of this going back all the way to 2012 with no resolutions.  I found it kind of surprising.  Same as the others the only way to resolve it is to suspend Resharper.  I'd love to keep my Resharper in use but it's not worth it if it's going to just slow me down.

This had no impact on resolving the issue.  I'm using resharper less and less because it keeps causing this problem without a resolution.

Hello Mstillwater,

Could you please try disabling ReSharper | Options | Environment | General | Read solution model directly and check if it helps.

Please let me know about the results.

Thank you.

That options checkbox is already checked.  Still not working.

With intellesense no longer functioning I also run into the issue of reshaper putting the using statements automatically outside the namespace.  VS intelligently puts it in the names space especially when they are already there.  Can I adjust resharper to fix that?

Please try disabling ReSharper | Options | Environment | General | Read solution model directly option and let me know if it helps.

To put using statement inside namespace please enable ReSharper | Options | Code Editing | C# | Code Style | Reference Qualification ... | Prefer fully qualified using name at nested scope

Thank you.
