Perf Perf Perf is the only thing you should be working on. No new features.

I am about at the end of my rope. I spend so much time waiting for Visual Studio to respond any gains that resharper gives me are completely swamped out. This has been going on and on for a long time. I've read and understand that it WORKS ON YOUR MACHINES. I wish it didn't. I wish you could experience the frustration I have because you would do EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER to fix it. Right now I move the cursor left past a comma in an argument list and hit control left shift to select the text. THE UI LOCKS UP FOR OVER 5 SECONDS EVERY SINGLE TIME. This is killing me guys! And that is the least of the issues. I just disabled resharper for a project because I can't get anything done. Guess what. It is NOT disabled. How fucking nice.

Look, I like your products but if they don't work they are worthless. You know that some people have simply terrible experiences with resharper. DO you have enough customers who have a good experience to offset us and throw us to the curb?

I have a 6/12 core machine with 48 gig of RAM. I run multiple copies of VS. I don't have a lot of time to help you figure out what your problem is but if there is something simple I can do let me know.

I tried to use you feedback form in the program but when I try to attach it says it can't.

I am not angry. I AM FRUSTRATED. I CANNOT USE MY NORMAL WORKFLOWS BECAUSE YOU INTERRUPT THE PROCESS ALMOST EVERY FEW SECONDS.

I've been doing this for over 30 years. I type fast and move around and between source files very quickly. All of that is lost. I wait, and I wait, and I wait.

If I can't disable your product I will uninstall and be done with it.

Can you tell I'm frustrated...

Hello Ted!

Thank you for the feedback. We really appreciate it.

We are aware there are performance problems with ReSharper and VS integration and we are working hard to resolve them.

For every performance report we get the highest priority is set and we do our best to fix it first of all. Thus there are bunch of performance fixes coming in ReSharper 2018.2. If you could provide performance report for the slow downs you are experiencing we could investigate the problem and possibly suggest some workaround or fix the problem. If you are experiencing problems with feedback form could you please provide details what went wrong with it?

There's also making ReSharper out of VS process that is in progress - https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RSRP-468407, though it's a quite a challenging task.

You could also try Rider - https://www.jetbrains.com/rider/ which provides the same ReSharper features and isn't tied to VS and so it gets great possibilities.
Thank you.
