Any plans for standalone version?

as a long time Idea user, I would like to see Jetbrain make resharper standalone..
I mean, VS is really pain to work with, and although resharper makes it somewhat usable,
it's miles behind Idea. I also have a feeling that, if you started with stanalone version instead of doing plugin, we would have quite usable editor right now. So, please, drop whole resharper plugin development and relieve us of pain..
eh..just some wishful thinking..

Yes, we have plans for developing a standalone IDE. Although I could not
agree that it was better to start with standalone product from the start.
Developing a plugin we get in touch with .NET developers and have chance to
better understand their needs. Developing a standalone product we could not
do that until we have at least some minimal functionality (this would take
months in addition).
