License for ReSharper 4.0 EAP?

Hi,

My 3.1 ReSharper license doesn't work with the 4.0 EAP nightly builds. I have 20 days left. Is there somewhere a special EAP license?

Thanks, Rainer

Hello Rainer,

ReSharper 4 nightly builds is meant to be run using evaluation. We are going
to extend evaluation period once in a while.

Would it be possible to indicate on the eap download page which builds have a reset license time?

Hello Samuel,

I don't think it is a good idea :) We would like early adopters to refresh
builds as frequenly, as possible. Bugs and exceptions get fixed pretty fast,
so you probably want to refresh at least once a week. We even were thinking
about setting evaluation period to one week to enforce this during EAP, but
thought that good will is better :)

Then maybe auto-updates of EAP would be nice? :)

I update mine on a daily basis, unless there are any known issues listed for
that particular day. I really appreciate the R# team making the pre-EAP
builds available to us, particularly while there is still time to suggest
new features :). Thanks for making that decision!

Cheers,
Mike
