Extract interface, default to "Place in other file"?

Hello

Is it possible to have the default option set to "Place in other file"
instead of "Place beside" when using the Extract Interface feature?

Cheers

Hello Gabriel Lozano-Moran,

I think setting should be persisted across invokations. Could you please
file a request in JIRA? Thanks.

Is this persisted in the .resharper file normally then? Because for our team
we have added the .resharper file to our subversion repository so that the
settings could be shared between all the team members. This file is
read-only maybe it can therefore not be persisted?

Cheers

No, these are per-user settings. They reflect the most-recently-used selection
rather than any style.

For example, you might want to develop a class and an interface in a single
file for better editing experience, and then move them out to individual
files before checkin. If the setting were shared, it would change the .resharper
file each time someone uses the refactoring with the "beside" option.

Well in that case I can only tell that it is not persisted across
invocations.
