My caret has disappeared!

I can see the cursor fine, hover over a member fine and see the tool tip,
but when I click on the text-editor I don't see my caret and can't select
text. I just spent a few minutes waiting for the caret to appear, thinking
Resharper had falling into one of those (seemingly) endless loops. The tool-tip
appeared so quickly, however, that I started typing. Low and behold, the
text appeared with no lag AND NO CARET. What's going on here?

After waiting for some time, switching to Omea to edit this post, then returning
to VS to validate the behavior, finding the weirdness still occurred, and
returning to Omea to edit some more, the caret has re-appeared and I can
select text once again. Weird, huh?

By the way, I'm using R# 2.5.376.1.

Back again. Both times, Unit Test Runner was open.

Hello,

If you have the Word Wrap feature on, that could be a good old Visual Studio
bug with update regions not quite hitting the dirty text. In such case VS
repaints the wrong line (not the one you're typing in), or even half of the
line you're typing in. There are no indications as of whether this bug is
related to R# or not, because I've seen it on R#-unaware VS installations.

Is this the case?

The text I type in the editor does not wrap, so I would guess it is not on;
though I don't know where I would turn this feature on or off.

Hello,

The text I type in the editor does not wrap, so I would guess it is
not on; though I don't know where I would turn this feature on or off.

Main menu: Edit -> Advanced -> Word Wrap.
