VB.NET IntelliSense not really working?!

It seems that in the VB.NET environment the IntelliSense is not completely working. When I type the combination of "CTRL"+"SPACE" there is no completion list showing up. Am I doing something wrong?

In case of the VB.NET language, R# does not override the default completion
feature (it only adds the Smart and Type Name completions on their specific
keyboard shortcuts). The list that pops up automatically as you type or is
summoned with Ctrl+Space is coming from Visual Studio in VB.NET. Possibly
some setting's gone off in Tools -> Options -> Text Editor -> Basic -> General.

Thanks for you answer. I misunderstood the features that were inside the VB.NET version.

is this still the case with Resharper 5.0?

Hello,

This wasn't the case with any ReSharper version.

does it mean that resharper is still lacking intellisense replacement for visual basic?

Somewhat. The Basic Completion and Autopopup Completion are coming from VS.
The Smart Completion and Type Name Completion are still ReSharper's (see
shortcuts in main menu).
There are also come context actions, Generate functionality, and most of
the other features are also enabled cross-language.
