Right angle bracket not getting skipped - what am I doing wrong? :)

If you type over most auto-text brackets, they just get skipped - for some reason right angled one doesn't. For example:

something.test(v)  - if you just typed "v" and next keystroke is ")" you effectively retype ")" and your cursor ends right behind it.

If you do the same with angled bracket this happens:

List<T> - I've just typed T now, right angled bracket and I end up with  List<T>>

Am I missing something; I don't seem to be able to find option for this and quick google wasn't really much help ....

Cheers,

R.

Oops, just noticed that it's my second post on the topic with not replies to the first one .... does not one else have this problem?

I'm also getting this, its only started happening since the last update. I'm on 5.0.1659.36. It seems to happen for brackets on a foreach, methods etc. It does work some times, but I'm not sure when right now, I'll report back if I see that again.

I think I've figured it out, the closing bracket doesn't get skipped if the auto-complete dialog is shown. I'm using visual studio 2010 intellisense rather than resharper's, which might explain it.

Would this be considered a bug?

Hmm ... happens on mine either way and is rather annoying. Is nobody else getting the same issue? I'm now on 5 prod code.

Hello radski,

Try the latest nightly build of ReSharper 5.1 (http://www.jetbrains.net/confluence/display/ReSharper/ReSharper5.1Nightly+Builds).
Thank you!
