Xamarin Support?

Stop the mutha effin presses. :)

Has anyone taken a look at this?

http://developer.xamarin.com/guides/cross-platform/xamarin-forms/introduction-to-xamarin-forms/

Essentially what this means is that you can now build ONE UI application in Xamarin and have it run on multiple platforms -- DEVELOPED IN XAML. :)

However, running this in ReSharper is not exactly a pretty experience.  I'm running 8.2. Soooooooo, I'm curious:

1) If this is a known issue and/or
2) There are plans to incorporate support for this.

ReSharper has such amazing Xaml functionality.  It would be awesome to extend it to this.  I believe part of the issue here is that the "Build Action" for the Xaml files is "Embedded Resource" and that is tripping up ReSharper.

Anyways, I thought I would ping this forum to see if anyone can speak to this.

Long live ReSharper! :D

Hi Alexander,

Is there any way we can get a priority of this issue and Xamarin support in general for the next version of ReSharper?  Obviously, cross-platform development is extremely desirable, and next to TypeScript, Xamarin offers the most hopeful vision of this in the .NET platform, maybe even more so than TypeScript as it brings along all the history and maturity of the "native" .NET libraries.

It would be awesome, amazing, and great to see this become a reality.  Because, as you know, if you're not developing with ReSharper, you're not really developing. :)

Thank you for any consideration and feedback,
Michael

I just wanted to publicly thank the ReSharper Team for putting in Xamarin support so quickly in ReSharper 9.  It's great to see Xaml alive again and ReSharper not only standing it up, but giving it super powers.

I look forward to supporting the cause once ReSharper Ultimate is available.  Keep up the great work Team ReSharper!
