Yellow box?

Hi-

I just loaded up build 72 and I'm seeing a yellow box in the lower, right-hand corner (where the scrollbars meet). Is that the equivalent of the IDEA green/yellow/red box (in the upper right)? I'm guessing that ReSharper doesn't like something in the file I'm looking at.

Can you confirm?

Thanks,
Nick

Nick,

Yes, you're right. It's our error/warning indicator. Yellow color means
that ReSharper found some warnings in your file. They are underlined with
blue weavy line by default.

You can use F2/Shift-F2 (Next/Prev. Error) to find what it doesn't like in
your file.

Hello Valentin,

Occasionally I get resharper choking on the following line:

catch (Exception ex)

The "Exception" is underlined red and the tooltip sais: Type 'Exception' does not extend 'System.Exception'. This is, of course, not true and the project compiles just fine.

Michael,

what kind of project this code locates in?
Are you able to navigate to 'System.Exception' by using 'Ctrl+N' (don't
forget
to check 'Include library types')?

Dmitry, this error is intermittent and I can't remember right now whether it was in an ASP.NET code-behind class or in a library project. I'll give CTRL+N a try next time this happens. In general though, I see quite frequently ReSharper not able to resolve certain types and then after some time (and some more files open) being able to recover. In particular I think it happens more often with ASP.NET user controls.
