Solution Loading Bug [241]

When VS2005 loads a solution, I am getting an error about trying to load a
deleted file. (#24857). It is then followed by an internal error (#24917 or
#24872).

I think I am going to have to go back to Build 240.

Hello Randy,

does this error #24857 appear consistently? We have a hypothesis of its
origin but according to it this error should happen only occasionally.
Does it depend on a particular solution (I presume this solution is either
a website or contains a website project)? Any information helping
to repeat it would be extermely valuable for us. Thanks.

Dmitry,

Error #24857, does seem to be pretty consistant. And yes, my solution has 4
projects, and one is a local web project.

Its the follow up after 24857, #24917 & #24872 that seem to be inconsistant.

Also, as a follow up to the issues I had posted about earlier on #22726.

Because of this error, I reverted back to Build 240. And I again, got the
error (22726), but again, after reverting the VS2003 build back to 240 as
well, the error went away.

I know they are supposed to be independent, but there is something in the
2003 build that fixes the 2005 build. (in each case I installed the 2003
build after the 2005 build)

Let me know if you need any more info.

Hello Randy,

could you please check if 24857 happens on a simple Web Site solution for
you? Thanks in advance.
