Purpose of the global inspection feature?

Is it going to flag errors which weren't found by the regular code inspector?

Hello abdu,

It is based on "regular" code inspector and doesn't find more errors, but
its purpose is to instantly find files with errors. Without solution-wide
error analysis you have to compile to find errors introduced in other files.
For example, if you've changed member visibility from public to internal,
being sure it is used only inside assembly, you have green current file.
And then you see red sign in the status bar - you can jump to next error
instantly and see that someone used this member from outside of assembly.

Sincerely,
