Fonts and Colors

Hello,

We did some changes in order to fix missing Fonts and Colors items from ReSharper.
We are not absolutely sure it will fix it for everyone, but if you try build
1566 or later, and you had problems with missing ReSharper items in Fonts
and Colors, please check if you have them back, and tell us. Also, you may
need to clear FontsAndColors cache in registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\FontAndColors\Cache
(yes, I know previously cache clearing didn't help, but now with the fix
it helped at least several people).

Thanks for your cooperation!

Sincerely,
Ilya Ryzhenkov

Yes it helps. Had this Issue on a fresh installed Windows 7 Enterprise (Company
Image)
with installed VS 2008 Team Edition.

I've don't try the remove of the Cache Registry-Key with 1565. But with 1566
it works
after removing the key.

Albert

Nice, that did the trick for me 2. Thanks.

VS2010, RS5 1567

But there seems to be a collision between some values:

VS: User Types, User Types (Delegates, Enums, Interfaces, Type Parameters, Value Types )

and

R#: Type Identifier

After a relaod of VS the values are mixed up on the screen.

But if you set one to Automatic (not to Default!) and the other to a defined value it seems to work, somehow.

I've got a fresh install of Windows 7, VS 2008 SP1, RS 5.0 1570.7. I cannot get the font and color items to show up, even after clearing the registry several times.

VS 2010 Beta 2 does seem to be working with the same build, however. One point is that I brought up the "Fonts and Colors" settings before enabling
"Color Identifiers" in ReSharper Options in VS 2008., but not 2010.

Works to me

XP PRO,  VS 2008 Team System

I had to install R# 4.5 first, then R# 5.0.  Then it worked.

This worked for me using VS2010 the version 10 key of course.  One note I had coloring in the IDE before I installed the build from 1/27 but after the install the coloring was gone.  I got rid of the cache and the coloring is back.

I have lots of colors... They are just the wrong ones. See attached images

Just as an FYI, I installed [Build 5.0.1611.9 on 2010-02-05T15:47:52 ] on top of VS2010 RC today. There are no other installations of R# on this computer.

I am not getting the R# items in Fonts & colors.

I tried clearing the cache (I renamed it) and restarting VS but it made no difference.

Should I uninstall 5, install 4.5 then reinstall 5?

thx
