C++ CLI support?

I know C++/CLI support is not yet available in Resharper C++ 9.1 and I know you plan to add it in the future.

What I would like to know is do you have an estimated date for CLI support? In the mean time I can keep using Visual Assist, but I can't wait to ditch it for Resharper!

Hello Staeton,

  We are planning to release ReSharper C++ with CLI support next year.

Thanks!

Does "next year" mean 2016?

Any idea when this is going to be released?

We started implementing C++/CLI support, but it most likely won't be ready to be included in the 2016.2 release. We hope to be able to ship it in 2016.3. In the meantime, please vote for https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RSCPP-13781 to receive updates about this issue and help us prioritize the features.

Any news about this C++/CLI support?

Currently not being able to use Resharper for CLI (and not being able to have Visual Assist and Resharper at the same time, because it crashes visual studio) is a big problem to us.

C++/CLI support is not yet of production-level quality, so it is not enabled by default. You can try following instructions at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RSCPP-13781#comment=27-2408060 to enable it and see how it works on your code base.

Is there any news about C++/CLI support? I/m aching to use it, but there's no way I can if there's no C++/CLI

C++/CLI has been supported since 2018.2, so for more than a year now - https://www.jetbrains.com/resharper-cpp/whatsnew/#v2018-2-ccli.

nice. It didn't come up when I googled it. Is it the same for Rider? Does Rider have C++/CLI support? I know this is not the correct support thread, but it keeps popping up when I search for Rider.

Rider does not include C++ support yet, but we're planning a public preview of it targeting the end of the year.

Great thanks Igor. Unfortunately for me by then it's going to be too late. Cheers
