ReSharper main menu position is reset every time. I don't want it at all!

Hi,

I've customized VS2005 in a certain way by adding/removing menus and tool buttons. But every time I reset the IDE, the ReSharper menu appears again, and I've moved it in the Tools menu to save some space.

Is there a way to tell it not to reset its position every time?

EDIT: Wow, it's even worse! Not just that it resets its position, it performs some first-time initialization every time I remove the menu from the menu bar. I even disable the addin in the addin manager but it keeps loading every time I start the IDE. What's with that??

Hello Iliyan,

I'm afraid that such a scenario (manually relocating ReSharper menu) is simply
not supported for now. What happens is ReSharper detects that menu is
missing at its default place and decides that something has gone wrong, so
it re-creates the menu. I'd appreciate if you submit a request for this problem
to our bug tracking system (www.jetbrains.net/jira).
