Difference between the different navigate forward/back commands?

Can someone tell me what the difference is among these commands:

  1. ReSharper.ReSharper_NavigateBackward
  2. ReSharper_NavigateBackwardApp
  3. View.Backward
  4. View.NavigateBackward
  5. View.BrowsePrevious

What I'm looking to do is assign alt-left and alt-right to a command that goes through my text editor location history. I want to be able to browse using whatever method ReSharper or the IDE support, which will take me to different files and locations, then be able to alt-left and alt-right to walk backwards and forwards through that text caret position.

Previously when I was using VisualAssist the VAssistX.NavigateBack/Forward did this exactly. What's the right thing to use with ReSharper?

Can't help out  regarding the difference of the different choices, but I've noticed a behavior difference when using View.NavigateBackward versus Resharper.NavigateBackward.
See post http://www.jetbrains.net/devnet/thread/287175 for how, in my case, navigate backward doesn't navigate as I would expect all the time

Hello,

1. ReSharper.ReSharper_NavigateBackward
2. ReSharper_NavigateBackwardApp

These two are just the same.

As for the others, there were some issues in their behavior, but I'm not
quite sure of any details.
