'With Region' and 'Without Region' options are confusing. What do they do??

I have to say the "Type members Layout' options screen is one of the worst screens in Resharper. It's confusing and bad in discoverability. I want to do a code cleanup and remove the regions. I see a couple of "Without Regions' options. One radio button and one Button and I thought they made it easier to remove the regions. I click on the 'Default layout without regions' hit Save and do a code cleanup. The regions weren't removed. I choose 'Custom layout' and click on  'Without Regions', click on save and do a code cleanup. The regions weren't removed! I have NO idea now what the previous two options do. I check the help page and do a search on 'regions' and find no info on these options.

I pulled up my old notes which says to add RemoveAllRegions="true" for the default pattern and that didn't work in all the profiles! Now I am pissed. Either I am doing it wrong or this feature is totally broken in, VS 2013.
