ReSharper CodeLens?

Hello Community,

I was super excited to hear about MSFT's new direction with the Visual Studio Community Edition.  However, after some poking around, the Community Edition is actually the Professional Edition, and not the Ultimate as it was eluded to ("full-featured").  This means no CodeLens, which ironically is the first feature out of MSFT that is not ReSharper that has any value.  I am curious if there has been any thought around making a ReSharper version of this feature (as in the same, but better).  Essentially, making this part of ReSharper Ultimate would boost sales of ReSharper as $249 vs $13k (!) (or even $4k for BizSpark renewals/offers) makes all the business sense in the world. :)

I wanted to reach out in this forum to see if we can get a vote around this (or if there has been already one set up.  ReSharper is awesome and having its own accessible version (even better implemented, I'm sure! -- ReSharper seems to understand Visual Studio better than Visual Studio understands Visual Studio, ironically) would be supreme.

Thanks for any insight and/or discussion around this,
Michael

+1 for a "CodeLens" like feature to be implemented in ReSharper. Thanks.

I love that feature and was so disappointed when I changed companies and found that was an ultimate only feature.

I've created another issue that boils down the heart of this request here:

Please vote. :)

Please include this feature. Having a hard time to find reference number.

What annoys me about Code Lens is the fact that the information is wasting some space and distracts me from code (at least when I am not in to researching changes). So the thing I really miss about code lens is the possibility to move the "... references .." text to somewhere it does not disturb or enable/disable it on demand quickly.
