Rendering #region directives as separators...

Is it possible to configure Resharper to render #region directives as a separator line.  I tried a competing product that did this and found it pretty useful.Thanks.J

Unfortunately, ReSharper cannot do that out-of-box, but possibly this can be done via ReSharper plugin. I'm moving this thread to the SDK/API forum.

Actually, ReSharper plugins can't do this. This requires extending the Visual Studio editor. ReSharper internally extends the VS editor to provide various highlights - the squiggly error and warning underlines, the solid colour underlines for CSS colours, dotted outlines for Live Template hotspots and so on. And these highlights are made available for ReSharper plugins to use. If you want to make the VS editor display anything else, you need to register your code with Visual Studio, and this is static registration, while ReSharper plugins are dynamically registered (this is why VS extensions require restarts when being installed). So, to do this, you'll need to take a look at writing a VS editor extension.
