ReSharper and VS 2022 - Hints/Suggestions/Warnings - What happened to the visual clues?

I am having issue where Hint/Suggestion/Warning are not showing up with a different color in VS2022 vs VS2019.   For example, in 2019, the text for redundant qualifiers would be a lighter color then the rest of the text.  However, in VS2022, this doesn't happen anymore. I am so used to using these color changes to stand out to show me where I can clean up the code.  I get I can use the lightbulb, but now it's an extra step.

Is this to be expected in VS 2022?

Hello Mark,

thank you for contacting us.

Could you please send us screenshots illustrating this issue?

Thank you!

So, here I have simple redundant qualifiers, however, no matter what Inspection Severity I have it set to, there is absolutely no visual clues.  As you can see in the examples, in VS2022 there is no visual clue with the text compared to VS2019, regardless of what severity I set it to.   enumValue and ResharperVisualClues.Enums both should be the light gray color, not the standard black color (well, that is how it is in VS2019). I am not sure how many other areas are like this, but this one is the one that caught my eye.

This is VS 2022 w/ lastest resharper  using the same resharper configuration in VS2019

Here is VS2019 w/ latest resharper, using the same resharper configuration in VS2022

Hello Mark,

thank you for the details.

Is it possible to send us a sample project where we can reproduce the issue?

Also please export your settings (ReSharper | Manage Options | Import&Export | Choose each layer | Export to file) and send us too.

Thank you!

Files uploaded, I also submitted a bug ticket with them as well, was not sure how quickly you would respond (see #6286538)

I am hoping this might be a setting in VS2022 that needs to be undone or changed. I really miss those visual clues

Hello Mark,
Please try the following:
go to Visual Studio Tools | Options | Environment | General | change Color Theme to "Blue" and check the result.
Thank you!
