How to apply certain code syntax settings on demand, without invoking through the 'action list' context
Is there any way to apply the syntax reformatting for example to use var
or Target type new
.
Im aware of the options in:
Options > Code Editing > C# > Syntax Style
Where it is possible to change the notify with indicator, but i do not see where it is possible to apply these (or other) syntax settings such as upon closing bracket, semicolon, or even hotkey setting.
I have set Options > Code Editing > Code Cleanup > Profiles
to Reformat & Apply Syntax Style
But at least settings for ‘var’ usage in declarations
(and maybe others) in Options > Code Editing > C# > Syntax Style
are not applied when forcing refactoring.
The only way to apply these changes is to right click light bulb action list
and apply it from the context menu. But there doesn't seem to be any option for resharper to reformat Target type new
.
What might i be missing?
